Dr. Shaojun Guo's research mainly focuses on energy catalytic materials. He did the creative studies on tuning surface strain of nanomaterials for greatly boosting energy catalysis. Since his independence, he has published more than 100 papers as corresponding author in high-impact journals (IF>10) including Nature (1), Science (1), Nature Reviews Materials (1), Advanced Materials (25), Nature Communications (3), Science Advances (1), Matter/Joule/Chem (7), etc. His papers have received the total citations of more than 30, 000 (h-index: 94) (Google scholar). For six consecutive years (2014-2018), he was selected by ISI Web of Science into their prestigious list of World Highly Cited Researchers, and he was also elected as the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2018), and received some of prestigious prizes such as Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship (2018) and International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE)-Elsevier Prize for Applied Electrochemistry (2016), etc. He is principle investigator of multiple projects such as National Key R&D Research Program of China, Beijing Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholar and National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc.
