Dr. Xu has primarily engaged in Beidou satellite navigation system construction and its related work for many years. Her main research interests lie in the board area of satellite navigation and its augmentation technologies and navigation receiver technologies, with special emphasis on systematic algorithm theory and engineering applications, coupling with the tasks of the Major projects of the 2nd generation satellite navigation system in China undertaken by the Navigation General Department of CAS. She is holding/leading 13 projects, funded by 2nd generation navigation projects of National Science and Technology Major Project (NSTMP), Chinese National Natural Science Foundation, Chinese National Programs for High Technology Research and Development, etc. The overall project funds is more than 50 million CNY. She published 25 papers indexed by SCI/EI as first author or corresponding author, and has35 invention patents.
