Dr. Zizhuo Wang is the co-founder and CTO of Cardinal Operations. He is also an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean in the School of Data Science, at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Dr. Wang graduated from Tsinghua University in 2007, and obtained his PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2012. He was an Assistant/Associate professor at University of Minnesota

Dr. Wang has extensive experiences in working with industry. He has been involved in a pricing project for IBM for several years, which has resulted in great improvement in its profit.  He has also consulted for Seagate, American Express, among others. He has also been a quantitative researcher in trading firm on wall street. Since 2016, he founded Cardinal Operations with his colleagues and served as CTO, through which he has been involved in many projects with companies in China, helping them with using data to inform decision making.
