Chief Executive of the Chinese "National Starlight Integrated Circuits Project"; developed the first semiconductor chipset made in China sold to Apple, Samsung, HP, Sony, Lenovo, etc.. 2004 National First Class Award for Science and Technology of China by the President and 2005 National "Model Worker" Medal. Iconized as "Father of China Semiconductor Chipset".
